April Check In
Birthday month check-in! This last month of classes has definitely been a whirlwind. As I mentioned in my March blog, I have spent most of this semester battling a mystery illness that left me suffering from a fever most days. However, thanks to everything I learned from my classes and from studying so frequently next to M1/M2 medical students (and thus absorbing some of their knowledge), I was able to figure out that I had cat scratch fever! My doctor quickly agreed, helped me get treated and I am now back to my good ol' self. Will this stop me from fostering more pets? Absolutely not! In fact, when my partner came to town, we went to Zeus's rescue along with Kayla and her boyfriend to walk some dogs and spend time with the cats. As an animal lover, I think I spent more time on each walk trying to convince my partner on why "this is the dog we absolutely need to adopt" than anything else but I am glad that we had the opportunity to help these dogs stretch their legs...
