February Check-In
February has been busy! As we get in the full swing of the semester and of the Mardi Gras season, it has been interesting to balance the two. I have really been enjoying the neurology module and learning so much from Dr. Mostany. I appreciate how knowledgeable he is about something that I am very passionate about as a Neuroscience major. My foster cat, Gandalf, has finally started settling in and is now a complete cuddle-bug so if you know anyone searching for an orange cat, he is your guy! I appreciate the energy he has brought to our apartment, as he has forced me to take breaks from my studying to give him attention or food. For volunteering, the WeMade organization has still been focusing on their competitions leaving no time for me to do any seminars/resume-building with the boys. However, one of the boys in the program has been struggling with academic confidence in some of his classes so him and I have been meeting once a week to work on building that up.
